Should the P0410 code clear itself after fix?
Hey folks,
I recently had the P0410 code pop up. Separately the consumer battery was on its last legs and was sometimes going flat within a day. I replaced the consumer battery (it was leaking from below ), and finally got the drive cycle finished.
After replacing the relay for the secondary air pump, I can now hear the pump start right up and stay on for 30 seconds or so.
Do I need to clear the code manually using an OBDII scanner, or does anyone know how many cold starts are needed for the DTC to be cleared by itself? So far I've probably had about 3 cold starts. I'd love to not have to run through the drive cycle again!
Thanks,
Riz
