S/C clutch engagement
Sorry but I did do a search. What variables, rpm, TP, or? are measured by the ECU to engage the S/C pulley? At what rpm is it engaged? Does it ever run only partially engaged? Why is it needed? So many S/C'd vehicles out there with clutch less S/chargers. Cheers.

To fill in the blanks...the SC is on or off, never partially engaged; it is off at low load so it does not cause drag during normal situations, saving gas and wear on equipment; it is needed to produce forced air induction into the cylinders, making magical horsepower appear for big grins.
