SL65
I owned an '05 (or was it an '06?) for about five years. I drove it for about 55,000 miles. Probably the best car I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of cars in 66 years. I miss it enough that I'm looking at a '14 SL65 right now. My DD at the moment is a BMW M6, 2015. I don't care for it at all. It's about twice the size of an SL with almost no more room and a crappy ride.

Ejbrock,
When you want comfort, performance, style and pure luxury you can't beat an SL AMG!
Best of luck in finding the right car.

I ended up getting an E55. No droptop, but I was able to snag a low mileage one with all the records and no ABC to worry about. Thanks for the advice anyways.
