Engine oil temps - consensus
I just installed a new HE in front of my oil cooler, so I have been watching the oil temps lately to see what they are now and if the new HE has an affect on them. Never paid close enough attention prior to this to know what they were so I'm looking for some help. Currently, once warmed up with normal driving, they are pretty stable around 105 degrees.
It would be great to know, what others are getting for their oil temps. Including higher limits when pushed hard.

I have an Renntech HE. I almost never see temps of over 100 c. As soon as I get the car moving at freeway speeds, the temp will drop to around 90. When it is cooler out, I see temps in the mid 80s at freeway speeds.

The 105 oil temp was in 90 - 95 degree weather and are in-town driving with stop and starts.
I need to see what the freeway does to the temps...

Based on this, the normal oil operating temp is 212 degrees Fahrenheit which is 100 Celsius:
