This will be going in my R230 SL65 AMG Shortly.

Are the steering controls going to work with this head unit? I just picked up an 03 sl55 and need to change the head unit desperately bad.

Chris, I asked about a group buy on the new unit, and didn’t get a response. Are you willing to offer a discount on a group buy? I’m certain all reasonable people on here see the value of your support of the product, and they’re willing to pay a little extra as a result. However, I also think everyone likes a good deal, and would be more motivated to buy if there was an incentive to do so. Thanks.

Can you tell me the site to order so I can get your support please.
Couple of concerns
1. Does the unit come with everything I need to get this working
2. Does everything OEM works from what I'm reading yes
3. Will this let me play DVD straight out of the box . The car has a DVD but can only be played while parked
4. Does the GP require my phone for turn by turn ,,thank you

Thread resurrection. This happens because this thread is tagged as related to the 10.25" android thread (eg in the W212 group). If you scroll down a bit too far, the threads change without being noticed. just happened to me. I was scrolling down in another thread and then this thread got loaded.

I'd love to see...
I'd love to see some videos of how people use this device on their everyday drive. I know some people like android auto but I think I'll keep mine on Waze with Spotify linked in. It's the closest thing to a split screen I could get. Also, I like that I can just say, "ok, waze" and I can talk to the car. Since I don't have FM controls that work on this device (V2), I can just hit the original car radio button and it goes to my favorite station already set and use my car's key pad to change the presets. Then all I have to do is switch it back to aux to go back to Waze or watch YouTube.
I'll keep my bluetooth just on my car (not the device) so phone quality is better.
What are you guys doing?

Hey everyone. I’ve had my Android screen for about a year now and I still can’t get the CarLife app to work or understand what it does. It simply won’t connect to my phone. Also is there any way to change the km to mph and Celsius to Fahrenheit yet?

Can someone help with this? So my wife got a 2019 C43 with the 10.25" factory screen and it is simply perfect! I don't plan on using the factory navigation or anything but just want to use carplay, music interface, few things. Is it worth getting just for non-nav incompatibilities?

I just picked up a 2010 E350 with Parktronic and Night Vision. The ability to use Carplay and Waze is tempting. Does this screen block the sightline to the parking indicator? Has anyone used this with Night Vision?
