Hey Guys,

I have a set of RennTech Monolites on my SL.
Currently running 255/30/20 on front and 305/25/20
on the back.

Replaced rear tires no problem. In the process of
replacing front tires and wondering if a 255/35/20
will fit without rubbing? Car is lowered by star, but
the concern is really the nut and bolt above tire.

I would measure, but car is at home in garage and I am
in the office. Any help would be appreciated!

no they dont fit right. You have to do some cutting and will scrape. the only one that will fit right is 255, 30. I think 245,35 will fit but still cutting the bolt and still scraping. That is why mercedes only puts 19 on the front. Youre better off to put 19 on the front and use 255,35 19

Bump, has anyone pulled this off without cutting the bolt?

I'm thinking of going from 245/35/20 & 285/30/20 to 255/35/20 & 295/30/20 for next year.

I currently have half an inch of room and the increase is supposed to be only .2 of an inch taller.

I ended up putting a 255/30/20 on the front.

Ya 30's will fit, just too thin for my preference as the roads around here suck.
