2007 sl550 can't start with smartkey
Insert smart key into the ignition turn to position 3, no turning, the dash board displays light up and shut down. Remove the key and use keyless/go button on the shifter to start the engine.
I changed the fob battery, checked the battery under the hood and trunk showed 12.4 volt. The dash board clock reset every time turn on the engine. Checked all the fuses are good.
I am not sure if the ignition faulty. Any suggestions are appreciated.
