A/C sensor question
Need to know how to take apart the dash and replace the a/c sensor. The a/c was just charged and works fine but i have to turn on and off the ac button sometimes to get it to cool. Acts like the sensor is intermittant. Thx

Thanks for the reply. I havent driven the car enough to figure out the entire problem, i have to switch off then on the ac button from time to time to reset it to turn on ac and make cold air.
I will take to inde later to look for codes. Seems most people have talked about a temp sensor in the dash. I was trying to understand where the sensor sits and plugs in in the system behind the controls.

I've been experiencing the same problem that kustom2k1 reports, albeit much more intermittently.
Sometimes the compressor will turn off and stay off for quite some time. Other times I will turn the AC switch off and the compressor will stay on.
Research shows that there is an evaporator temperature sensor which is known to be prone to failure on the R230.

Of course, given that my symptoms are not quite 100% what others have experienced Murphy's Law says it may indeed be something else (like the Outboard Temperature Sensor A 007 542 13 18)...
