Hi guys , I have a 2005 sl55. The radio starts and then it says system unavailable and it then shuts down .I purchased a fiber optic Loop trying to figure out which component might be defective. What I have found is that when I plug the loop to amplifier fiber optic line the system does not shut off and seems to work but obviously no sound and when I plug it back to amp again same problem that system not available and shuts off. So I think the problem might be with the amp but before I purchase one is there a away to find out if that is the amp is the culprit.
Any help will be appreciated

I have a similar problem so any help would be appreciated. My radio stops working and says satellite unavailable. I turn it off, then turn it on and its fine for a while.
