easy entry/exit no longer works

After my last service, the easy entry/exit feature was disabled. The dealership says the last software update from Mercedes has disabled this feature on cars older than 2014 is this correct?

I can't speak specifically to the easy entry/exit feature (raises and lowers the steering wheel), but yeah it's frustrating when a software update changes something unexpected. On my CL600, an update changed the way the trip computer behaved when resetting the time and mileage since last start, and also changed the rev limiter when not in a drive gear. Who knows what all else it changed, but I also noticed a 10% DROP in MPG. Wasn't happy about it, and they never reverted it back to the previous version, not sure if they weren't able to or if they were just covering their asses.

Back on topic, my 65 is due for service and I'll make it a point to tell them NOT to upgrade the software if this feature is disabled. Can anyone else verify?
