I can hear a squeak right after first touching the throttle even slightly when pulling away from a stop. Is this a known issue? Car runs fine otherwise..

I'm thinking supercharger belt....do the do that?

Belt or pulley. I replaced both mine on my SL55 as a maintenance item. I have had pulleys fail on SLK's.
