New Owner 03 SL55!!!! I like it!!
Pics tomorrow guys.
I am a long time mercedes guy and have always wanted an sl55. Yes I took a chance and grabbed an 03 against the advice of the norm.
I am a very capable mechanical guy that hasn't payed for work in decades so I think I will be ok.
That said I love this car car and I have owned a ton of cars.
I recently sold my w208 clk55 which is a great car and very underrated in its self. I also own an slk320 which is a lot of fun and offers some of the joys of the SL.
So so what did I get ? A pewter silver metallic SL55 with the Pano roof and likely every option of the day.
72k on the car fairly well maintained and in great shape. Just a few odds and ends to repair like the soft close trunk latch and center brake light.
Because the car car was traded in at a Buick gmc dealer and they were afraid of the car I picked it up for a pretty good price. Amazing if you think about what they cost new.

what would be top if top of the maintenance list ?
ABC flush
trans drain filter fill and flush
super charger ?

Nice buy!!!
I'd replace the rest of the fluids (oil, coolant), belts, pulleys, filters (air, oil, cabin, fuel)...., just freshen it up and enjoy!
