Emotion Coilovers
Just came across these Emotion coil-overs for R230 and price is very good at c$1,251.75 including free shipping :
Anyone tried them? Any opinions?
Thanks,
Geo.
P.S. You should also be planning to add sway/anti-roll bars, if you install a coil-over kit (OK for V8s but more difficult to add for V12s).
All you have to do afterwards, is to purchase the European Mercedes-Benz SL350 sway bars.
The SL350 (R230) came standard from the factory with coil-overs and sway bars, but offered ABC as option. However, the SL350, was never available in North America.

If your car is a V8 dont get the SL350 front sway bar.
I have just finished the coilover conversion on my SL55 AMG and tried fitting the 350 sway bars.
The rear one is fine but the front one hits the sump and sub frame![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I ended up changing it for VVK sway bars as they are designed specifically for the V8.
Regarding the coilovers my recommendation is to save up a bit longer and buy the big name brands (KW or Bilstein) as they are top German quality and spend big money on R&D
