New AMG engines
Does anyone have information on new AMG engines(as mentioned in June's C&D)?. I've heard about the return to 4 valve heads, and direct injection with natural aspiration.
I have an SL65 on order but hear rumors it's just a stopgap engine, the new engine is a NA 6.9 liter with even more power.

there will be new engines! but at least in 2-3years. the first one of the new family beats in the SLK 350, next will be the CLS 350. these engines are prepared for direct-injektion, but not assambled yet. other V6, V8 and V12 engines will follow the same arciteture like the 3,5liter V6 (4valves and so on).
there are rumors about future AMG engines with 6.4liter without any charger, but these is minimun 2,5-3years away.
