I had an issue yesterday at the gas station where the fuel cover will not open. I was 50 mile from home and barely made it. shows 2 miles till empty. after searching the posts it looks like it could be the soft latch that is leaking. Is there a release that i can get the fuel door open? and also is there a link to fix the soft trunk i cannot find it?

Do a Google search for sl55 fuel filler flap manual open. The top link had the fuel door release answer. Why the made the manual release a bit of a pain and less obvious I don't know. Wasn't sure the rules here for posting a link to another MB forum hence the search words.
