On my SL 55 I could set the passenger side mirror to a different position when I put the car in reverse I cannot find this option on my 07 SL 65 does anyone know if this function was an ad on option. I have looked through the manual but I can’t find any reference to it either

It was removed on 07+ SLs I believe. Some say you can code it back in via STAR but I haven't been able to find it. Can anyone shed some light? It's one of the little things that would make a huge difference every time I drive the car.

I would think it would always be standard. go thru your menu or read the owners manual

The coding for this is (well, on my 04 plate) is held in the instrument cluster, but it may not be settable by ordinary (dealer) Star Diagnosis, it may need someone with Developer mode. Its something like "Speigel Einstellung"

I think you need the passenger mirror selected for it to work, and you need memory mirrors. (Maybe all SLs have this), and I guess you need to turn it on in the cluster settings menu (but I can't remember and my SL is not near me to check)

that is the same method that i set it on sl55. i just dont see the option in the cluster or the manual. I do know that the previous owner of my 55 had some star programming done. So perhaps this is something that has to be coded in. Ill reach out to my local star guy and see if he knows anything about it. Or if anyone has a definitive answer please post up.
