Was enjoying with the top down when on my way back home I heard a loud BANG! a bit like when you run over a plastic bag. Few seconds later "ABC drive carefully". Slowed and wasn't away from home, so did a 20 minutes drive from the issue.

Both wheels from the left side are now much lower that they should be. Right side looks fine.

The oil from the ABC system reservoir is all gone, and see some under the car near the left back wheel. (maybe good news as it wasn't empty when I turned off the car).

Please tell me the ABC oil pump turned itself off after oil pressure went down

No, it doesn't turn itself off. You blew a hose and I hope you did not grenade your pump too by driving the car after the hose blew.

It would be so simple and save so much money if the pump turns off on low pressure. Not sure why Mercedes does not do this.

Is there are fuse I can remove to turn off the ABC pump so that I can drive the car to the mechanic?

I see my error now, it is not an electric pump but runs with the engine. Mercedes could really improve it by making it electric instead. Sight.

happen to me before on my CL55 it went POW! i end up replacing the line that went above the rear subframe. Good time to replace both nitrogen ***** while your at it.

Hope is just a line, Good idea on the nitrogen *****, will replace them. Small bumps were already showing messages of ABC drive carefully.

Cant wait to get the car back!
