2011 E63
SL63 / SL65 Advice

Hi Guys - E63 owner here (2011 NA) and thinking of jumping into the SL family. I have been VERY happy with the E63, but I have always admired the look and class of the SL. Any advice anyone can give in options to look for, things you are happy with, things to avoid or any issues with the SL63 or SL65? I definitely view perf package and bi-turbo as must haves. I will also be keeping the E63 and looking to add to the #AMG4LIFE family! Thx in advance ...

SL65 has motor mounts wear and rotors price tag, both are very expensive to replace. SL63 is a non turbo with a famous M156 engine studs issue. Better gearbox on SL63 I think.

Simple, you're not getting big power with the 63 unless you do a lot of mods. The 65, just a tune gives you almost 65 horsepower.
