I had a cup in the driver's side cupholder of my 2004 SL55 and it sweated condensation down into the temperature adjustment knob. Immediately after this, the a/c panel was completely dark (no power and no climate control). After a few hours of evaporation/drying out the panel has lights and the heat seems to work BUT I do not seem to have consistent control of the a/c and the compressor does not seem to cycle.
Anybody have a solution/troubleshooting suggestions?
Any one of the following three will work-----230 830 07 85,----- 06 85 and 02 85 and don't be fooled by the bens wurld mumbo jumbo that others will work, because you will be back whining!

So you say any of these:
230 830 07 85
230 830 06 85 or
230 830 02 85
Do you have a good MB parts supplier?
Can you email me how you got these part #s? As I search the web, some of them come up as year 2007+ parts. Thank you for your help and understanding about not ordering the wrong part. tbaranek@earthlink.net

Can you show me where/how you got these part #s. One of the MB parts sites said it was a different number than any of these three...but it looks like they were wrong (anyway).

This part 230-830-13-85 superseded the other Parts and with some "re-programming" by an independent it is working well!
