2003 SL55 AMG

Supercharger tension bolt replacement

Hi folks. I screwed up and stripped out the bolt holding the S/C tensioner pulley to the tensioner assembly. Does anyone have a spare one or know where to get a spare one?

Plutoe- The bolt is not sold separately from the tensioner assembly. Believe me, I tried

Did you mean that you wanna to have the centre bolt of S/C tensioner?

'99 and '05 E55 AMG

Measure the bolt length, diameter, and thread pitch and perform internet search. Don't forget to indicate what head is wanted but don't pass on a flanged hex head just because internal torx head was original. The bolt in question is most likely a Grade 8.8.

I found a Grade 10.9 M12x1.25x140mm bolt for the rear suspension on my car through one of these companies. The small bolt you are looking for should be a breeze.
