Paint covering front of SL 55
i bough my car a week ago, it is an 08 with 48k miles. I could not believe how good of shape the paint was in. I was getting it detailed and I noticed that the front hood and quarter panels all had a clear sticker like covering. I was impressed I hadn’t even seen it up until now and it looks like it might’ve been done from the factory because there is zero air bubbles and it was flawless. The only thing they gave away Was on the edges there was a little bit of dirt buildup. I am wondering is this something that all SL’s have or if somebody did this as an aftermarket thought to protect the paint. I took a couple pictures to try and show what I’m talking about.

welcome to the 21st century, this is clear bra, paint protection film, almost everybody with a nice car puts it on their cars. Its hundreds to thousands of dollars to have it done.

Thanks, It looks great, no idea how long it has been on there. My $0.02, if anyone is considering one it looks great and really protected the paint, took me a week to even realize I had it there.
