R230 Lateral acceleration sensor location?
I need some help with locating the (B24/12) lateral acceleration sensor in my 2006 SL55. I have been dealing with ESP warning lights for a while now and am unable to use the cruise or disable the traction control because of this issue. I have searched the forum but can't find any definitive info on the location of the sensor. Just got back with the car from the local Stealership who diagnosed the issue and they want 800+ to replace it. From what I can tell it is a simple 1 plug replacement sensor that if I could locate, I am sure I could replace. Thanks in advance.

did they try to charge you for diagnostic as well?
