You can do it yourself by removing the fuel sender unit (gas gauge dipstick) in the trunk, drilling a small hole in the sender unit, and attaching a spring to the baffle plate. Takes a couple of hours and costs about $10. lots of posts on here about how to do it. I didmine about 5 years ago, works great.
