FOUND CONNECTOR ----- It attaches to the right hand side of the shifter.
Anyone know what this connector plugs into? I replaced my stock headunit with an Android headunit and in the process of putting my center console together cannot find where this plugs into?? The one end comes from the console itself and plugs into an adapter as seen in the left of the picture.... but anyone have any idea about the connector
in between, or if it just sits inside as is?

my first thought is that this connector should plug into the floor shifter (right front corner ... closest to passenger footwell)
I think that's right: into the shifter. I am certain that there is one plug into the shifter, so if you find one plugged in, them I'm wrong about that particular connector. If I recall, the shifter receptacle is on the forward face.
