Hi to all;

I am new to this Forum and have found it difficult getting any responses. Perhaps I,m posting in the wrong areas, not sure. I have recently purchases an 06 SLK55 AMG w/48,000 in beautiful condition. It has the Designo package gold(Chablis) in color and it is a blast to drive. I have run into a few issues with the car, one being that the Vario roof has decided not to latch completely. It seems to go up and down properly but doesn't completely latch and then I get the Roof in operation message. Perhaps one of the Micro switches??
Also, on occasion when out for a drive long or short, when I stop the car for say fuel and go to start again it will not start. A this point the clock goes backwards 24 hours then forward 24 hours, put the key back in and it starts. I tested the battery and it seems good..Any ideas on either issue?? Help would be appreciated
