Questions about 2015 Canadian SL63
I am considering purchasing a used 2015 SL63 originally sold in Canada. It has passed US inspection and has speedo/odo converted to miles. Is the GPS different from US version, is the radio different from the US version? Other questions are what other items may read in metric, and how much trouble and $ to put into English/inch? Are the manuals printed in English or French, are the various labels under the hood English or French. I am in Okla, and have not personally inspected the car. If too much additional conversion is required it may cool my interest. Thank you all in advance for any input and help.

While I personally have no direct experience, is it worth it? There's no SL63's in the US that you're interested in?
Sometimes there's a lot of issues with registering "foreign" cars in the US, or at least I've heard. Then you may also have issues trying to resell it later in the future...

Just want to add my unrelated but similar experience. I imported a used Saturn from Canada. Seems the rule is if the vehicle is US made or made for US market you have close to zero trouble. Took me half an hour to pass the border. I was driving the car myself. If not US made, you need to pass emission test and do more paperwork. I think emission rules are easier on newer cars.
I also paid zero duty but if the car is not US made you pay 2.5% duty in WA (as far as I remember)
Apart from the odometer, nothing else is different in my car than the US version. But again, this is GM not Mercedes.
I've heard resale value of imported cars are less. One reason could be the fact that the history of the car may not be complete in the carfax.
Side note, Last year I was looking at a Z4 bimmer in Canada. I put all the numbers together considering their cheaper Canadian dollar. At the end, the final cost was almost the same as comparable cars in the US.
