C klass 320

they have already discontinued the C32 and replaced it with the 55 engine... does anyone think AMG will be replacing there 5.5 supercharged engines with say 6.5 litre N/A engines??

Yes, that seems to be the direction AMG is heading. N/A engines only again.

do you think this is due to superchargers not being cost effective?
if im not mistaken it will be cheaper for them to make N/A engines then not...

now with mercedes not offering free maintainence for 05 and now if they discontinue the superchargers on the AMG models, im really wonder what they have planned i mean i dont have anything against N/A engines or any mercedes for that matter they are all great cars IMOP..

i think with the Maybach coming out and the SLR and other $200,000 plus cars mercedes is throwing there money into those cars and not there AMG's.. i guess they figure they make a few supercars with the money they save from AMG's with superchargers and turbos and such things and they will make more profit from there supercars....

i guess its a smart move for them but im a big AMG fan and i hope they dont FOLD on AMG and make them less appealing to make some extra money with the supercars

will have to see how the 6.3 litre V8 is going to roll.. Sound is surely going to be impressive.. not sure about the torque though
