SL63AMG Fuel Pump Leaking
Good Morning!
I noticed a leak under my 2009 SL63AMG and upon further investigation I see that either the fuel pump itself or the high pressure hose is leaking. Does anyone have any literature or information on how to change the pump? I have a cheap maintenance DVD from Ebay but it won't run anymore. Does the fuel tank have to be emptied before disconnecting the suction end of the pump? The pump is located above the rear differential and there is very little room to work up there, especially on the output side of the pump where the fuel is leaking from.

The pump is definitely leaking at the output end. I have ordered a new pump but I haven't pulled the old one out yet. I'm hoping to use pinch pliers to prevent fuel from draining out of the fuel tank. There is not a lot of room to work above the differential on this car. If anyone has any tips or tricks I would really appreciate it!
