SL 55 AMG, BMW M Roadster, Holden Commodore SSV
2008 55 Head Upgrade
A friend of mine that owns a local MB/BMW independent dealership has advised against upgrading the Burmeister unit with 2019 technology from Kenwood or other vendors. Said too much wiring goes through the unit and I'm asking for trouble.

What recent experiences have others had with the upgrade?

Lots of owners have done the head unit upgrade. Search the forum and you should find what you need.
