Hi to all,
Can someone tell me where the fuel filter is located on an 03 SL55 AMG Kompressor?

Jack up the rear end by the differential and place jack stands underneath. Remove jack and crawl under and its located on the driver side just to the side of the differential. Not the easiest in the world to replace, but not awful either.

To the left of the fuel filter above the the differential is the fuel pump. Real pain in the butt to replace but is doable without removing the differential. Not sure if your doing just some maintenance, but if your getting a little gas leaking chances are it's the seals in the fuel pump on these older cars.

Usually I take pictures of what I am doing so I I know how to put things back together. When replacing the fuel filter I took a picture of the left and right side. The left side picture came out fine. The right picture did not focus on the filter and hoses and is too blurry. On the right side one hose comes from the fuel pump and one hose is the fuel return line. The filter has one nipple in the center and one offset. Which hose goes to which nipple?
