Lidar Jammer install
Wondering if anyone has pics of laser jammers (ALP or Escort) on R230's. I'm considering getting one of those systems but have been cautioned on the placement of the emitters / receivers in the grill. I had the old Lidatek LE-10 in my CLK and it was awesome but these new systems need more heads and fine tuned placement.
I have and 09 SL63 and the mesh type grills present a challenge for a clean install.

I would think whatever shop you have install it all will be knowledgeable enough on where to install the emitters/receivers.
Most shops that do these installs usually have the equipment to also test what they installed as being correctly located and functioning as they should. If they don't I'd go to another shop.

I will most likely do the install myself as the install prices are a bit outrageous as in >$5500 for the Escort unit. I am trying to not cut the grill if possible which is something install shops want to do. I was an installer / tech back in the day and have installed jammers, I was curious if anyone here had done an R230. Lots of options for the parts inside the cabin just a matter of taste and how much work you want to do / pay for. Everyone seems to have a different opinion of which unit is best Escort or AL Priority which is a whole other decision.
