2007-08 SL55 or 2009 SL63
Which would you rather?
Styling of the 2007 SL55 is truly beautiful imo, but the performance & handling of the SL63 is compelling. Though, the handling of the '07 SL55 is supposedly improved over the '03 to '06 SL55.
SL55 seems to be a very powerful luxury grand tourer
SL63 seems to be a very powerful luxury grand tour also but with a high revving N/A engine, MCT trans, and better handling making it more of a sports car, but not necessarily a complete sports car.

All personal preference. 7 speed in 63 greatly enhances performance. Spend $1-$2k on the 55 and you’ve got over 500hp and 550 lb ft tq at rear wheel which more than compensates for 2 extra gears in the 63
Neither is true sports car. Styling differences may lead you 1way or other. Usually new is better. In this case however I vote for my 08. Sl55
