SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Life expectancy of SL63 brake rotors

Any input would be appreciated.
At 37,997 miles, original rotors were in good shape with over 50% surface remaining,
At 41,631 miles, MB replaced the pads for the first time with OEM.
At 44,502 miles, original rotors were in good shape with over 50% surface remaining,
At 48,560 miles, original rotors were in good shape with over 50% surface remaining,
At 53,419 miles, I replaced all pads and rotors - not because they were worn out, but because I performed extensive maintenance on the car at this time. Brembo (OEM) rotors and OEM pads.
My driving characteristics are not excessive.
I was surprised that when MB replaced the pads at 41,631 miles that they did not resurface the rotors. MB indicated to me that the rotor material is too hard to resurface and they only replace rotors.
I would assume that this is a standard usage and wear life expectancy for a typical MB car. Like Viper98912 has indicated - there are many variables where your results can be way different.
