I was at my dealer yesterday. Had to have the air pump on the evap system replaced. Anyway, ran into my sales guy and I mentioned to him that I wanted to get on the list for one of the first '06 model Sl55's, in the hopes that they have put the new nose on it for that model year. He mentioned that he had heard that '05 may be the last year that they will offer the SL55 and that in '06 they may only be offering the SL65. That would make it a three year run for the SL55, similar to what they are saying will be the life of the SLR.

Has anybody else heard this?????

Also, has anybody heard anything about the new CLS55. MBSpy.com is showing pictures of one.

Actually, the CLS55 info has been posted on the official AMG site already.

The sales guy is probably talking about the SL63 which should be a 6.3 Liter NA engine pushing 500 bhp with about 500 lb/ft of torque.
