Leaking abc pump... how long have you driven?
Hello,
Mechanic found a leak coming from the ac pump fittings. It appears to be a slow leak as of now. I plan on just checking abc levels each time I drive.
Curious how long have you guys let this leak go on for before getting it repaired? I'm just not financially ready to fix the abc pump yet.
Thanks!

I'm not sure there is any answer to this question. It's high pressure system so eventually it will just blow at the leak spot.
It could be just a cheap o-ring or maybe the hose at the fitting.
I'd probably fix before it blows and causes more issues on top of leaving you stranded. Right now it could be a very easy and not that expensive of a fix.

Blown hydrogen ***** causes a rough ride. Also more importantly it stresses the hydraulic lines. The ***** act like a shock absorber when the car hits rough spots. When they fail the rest of the system pressure has to accommodate. They are cheap and easy to replace I did all of the ones on my CL before anything.
