Driver door unlock mystery
Hi all,
I have unique situation and need some help pinpointing the root cause of this problem:
1) the problem is the driver side door, when I lock it and then unlock it, the door is able to open one out of ten times roughly.
2) inside handle always works, regardless of locked or unlocked.
3) problem started when one day I couldn’t close the door as it doesn’t shut it self anymore, how ever this problem has not been observed for a whole week anymore.
4) I have a bad power leak overnight prior and when this problem started, it seems like the draw is gone down to none.
5) however, if I do the unlocking and locking like 10-15 times, the rear battery goes below the normal operating voltage and my car shows a malfunction.
I am not sure if it’s PSE or if it’s a door lock physical issue.
