RennTech SL 65 AMG Black series Brake Ducts are designed to improving brake performance during dynamic road and track driving. Significantly increasing the longevity of brake pads, rotors and calipers, the Brake Ducts are the first step toward a more powerful and efficient brake setup for the SL 65 AMG Black series. RennTech front brake air ducts were designed in conjunction with front splitter to dramatically increase cooling air flow to the front brakes reducing brake fade and pad wear under the most extreme driving conditions. These bolt on components require no modification to the brake heat shield and are crafted in full carbon fiber. Whether your SL 65 AMG is equipped with iron or carbon ceramic rotors, the factory brake system is set up for everyday use and road driving. It is vital to understand that hard/spirited driving creates high temperatures around the brakes, which go far beyond everyday driving conditions. The function of the brake duct is to direct airflow to the center of the brake assembly, lowering the temperature of the brakes and lessening the possibility of brake fade. In combination with RennTech performance Brake Pads, Brake Lines, Performance Brake Upgrade, and high-temperature brake fluid (600-degrees or higher), demanding drivers and track racers can build a street and track worthy brake system for their SL 65 AMG Black series, which will save money, be safer, and make for an more inspiring driving experience.

The addition of the upgraded Intercooler Pump helps the engine to perfome well and better.The R1, R2, R3 performance package increases performance at the crank, without sacrificing daily driver comfort or reliability and offer huge gains across the entire RPM range. Due to increased power and boost levels, 93 Octane or higher gasoline has to be used with R1 upgraded RennTech vehicles to avoid damage to the engine. RennTech dual intercooler pump kit out performs any other unit on the market! RennTech upgrade replaces the OEM pump and includes an additional pump to allow maximum cooling efficiency and flow. Each individual pump flows over twice as much coolant as the problematic OEM pump and significantly more than any aftermarket unit on the market. Testing showed each Intercooler pump flows an impressive 8.7 G.P.M. @ 11.6 P.S.I each compared to the OEM pump 3.00 G.P.M. flow rate. This increase in flow dramatically removes heat from the incoming air; allowing for a denser air/fuel mixture and substantially cooler charge air temperatures over the entire operating range. RennTech pump upgrade kit mounts in the OEM location without any modifications, due to its dramatically smaller size and lighter weight and comes complete with all necessary plumbing, electrical connectors, mounting hardware and installation instructions.

RennTech Locking Limited Slip Differential, a differential is the last point between the engine and the wheels where power is transferred. The differential functions as a system to direct engine power at the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds. By upgrading the differential, you benefit in both straight line stability and vehicle handling while cornering. During a full power straight line run, our LSD (limited slip differential) will lock 100% and provide torque equally to each powered wheel, providing stable straight line runs. When exiting from a corner, our LSD's transition to the full 100% lock position is smooth and predictable. This gives the vehicle better traction and stability throughout the corner, improving overall lap times and a noticeable improvement in overall vehicle handling. The track is not the only place where the differential comes into play though. Bad weather and harsh road conditions can make the street a dangerous place. In snow, ice, wet weather and regions where the road surface can become unstable, our LSD easily adapts and adjusts tire rotation to increase vehicle stability on the road and help to dramatically improve driver safety. RennTech transmission upgrade consists of a complete transmission disassembly and inspection as well as a mechanical upgrade to the transmission clutch packs.
