Mercedes Benz SL63, C63S, Jeep SRT8

MMI Bluetooth

I have a 2009 SL63 and I am looking for suggestions or recommendations. Currently, underneath the armrest is a 30 pin plug for an iPod. I want to play music using my iPhone which has lightning plug. Mercedes sells the Multi Media Interface Plus which will allow me to play music using Bluetooth. However the reviews I have read have just been impressive given the price. I am looking for suggestions or recommendations on what I should do or buy. What I would like to be able to do are:

be able to play music using my iPhone which has a lightning plug. preferably using bluetooth but open to using a cable plugged to the adapter under the armrest
be able to use the wheel controls to change the music to the next track and foward/reverse the music
be able to see the title of the music playing on the display
be able to see the songs on a playlist

Note: I do not want to replace the head unit as I want the vehicle to as stock as possible.

06' SL65, 96' S500 & 09' S550

I went with a Coolstream in my 06' SL65. It works great...pairs quickly to both mine and my wife's phone. We use S10's so we don't get a display of the song or other info, but for an iPhone user, this would be the perfect solution. Like you, I refuse to go non stock with the head unit.
