Hey guys, A few years ago, I received an envelope from MBZ saying I had an extended 25 year warranty for my ABC system and some other stuff that costs more than the cars are worth right now. I called them and they confirmed it was a full coverage of the system. My ABC is crap and time to sell the car or fix it for good. Everything else is good, but that. I lost the paperwork when I moved my office last year and was hoping someone else received the same paperwork I did so you can share the telephone number on that warranty. It's obviously not an open call warranty sine it's posted NO WHERE on the web. 25 years is a crazy long warranty isn't it?

Only thing I can think of is is the SBC module.

I received a letter for extended SBC (electronic braking system) coverage but not ABC (active suspension)
I had not heard of an ABC extended warranty effort. The e55 does not have ABC, but does have SBC along with all other 03-06 e/cls class. What’s wrong with your ABC system?

You read the letter incorrectly. It's only the SBC that was covered.

What years of the R230 was this extended warranty good for? I called my dealer and they said my 2007 was not covered.

Fairly certain the most recent extension (for 25year warranty) stated 2003-2012, where as the 10year extension prior was only 2003-2006 (for the SL)

I called MB USA and asked them. The guy I talked to said he did not know and could not see anything on his computer but the dealership should have a "special" number to call and find out. It is like going in circles for me.

I just had a 2007 SL 550 SBC replaced under this extended warranty.
