New to me 04 SL55 got some questions.
Hello,
I just picked up a 2004 SL55 with 101000 miles on it. Distronic, Parking alert, Glass roof. and Motorola phone puck. Have a few questions hope you guy can give me some pointers. Must appreciated.
1. Interior trim is this weird Silver Textured surface. What does most of you think of it? for those of you that didnt like it , do you take it out and sand & Paint or Wrap?
2. Bluetooth puck. How do you pair it? and does it do Music Audio front my Galaxy andriod phone?
3. Roof / Top maintenance. It works fine right now. I read it need lubing. Is there a certain lube to use? Do I just make sure all the swivel joint have some grease/lube?
4. Do you guy use sprint booster for the improve pedal response?

I too recently purchased a SL55 with base aluminum trim. I searched Ebay for perfect walnut door trim and center console. Couple broken tabs on door trim, but easily fixed. Tough part was finding the pieces with no cracks in the wood or clear coat. Think I paid 80 per door trim, had to step up on console to get a perfect peice. 200 I think.

i managed to get the bluetooth puck paired.. It only sync to calls. No media/Audio thru bluetooth.

What is the solution for cup holders. The center cup holder are rather useless. i just see coffee will spill into the radio..
