Hello, own a 2003 sl55 10,000 miles I bought new. Brake pad warning on dash, pads like brand new is there any way to tell with das which sensor is sending the code? Does the rear Sam control rear brakes? Or are they all controlled by 1 of the sams ?

Looked at my das it doesn't have a test for the brake pad wear sensor.

The car is seventeen years old. One of the sensors could be faulty or one has come out of its socket bla bla
There are three look at them all and cheap change em all

I have changed them earlier but problem still exists reason I have asked if the rear Sam controls the rear sensor and the front pass Sam controls the front sensor I am going to have to track the wiring to the sensors.

To answer your original question, the front drivers side SAM controls the front sensor and the rear SAM controls the rear sensor
