I'm deep in to bypassing units on my optical loop to isolate a "system unavailable" intermittent shutdown. Already replaced the power amp and had the audio gateway bench tested to no avail. The only component I haven't used an optical loop on is the NAV DVD unit on the left side of trunk. I have radio removal tools and was able to slide the unit out 3/4's of the way, but can't pull it any further. I assume either the optical cable or antenna cable are kind of short and keeping me from getting it out a little more. Someone please tell me I don't have to dismantle the trunk lining just to get to the back of this unit.

Found my answer in some WIS docs that were sent to me. I guess I will pull the panel.
