Satellite Radio
For the life of me, I can't figure out MB when it comes to electronics. First, they are 2 years behind everyone else on the DVD based NAV.
I am talking to my dealer today and ask about what they are planning on doing with the antenna for the SAT radio. They say they mount them on the trunk. I say, no way are you ruining the look of my new $130K SL55 by placing an ugly black antenna box on the trunk. MB says that SAT radio is integrated into the car, but all they are really doing is providing an AUX port to the command system to be able to display the information. You would have thought that the engineers would have integrated the antenna into the car somehow.
Has anybody else dealt with this issue on an SL. Can it go in the trunk, or the grill. If not, I can kiss SAT radio goodbye.
