SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: VVK -Coil overs and sway bars
In the attached pictures you will see that the location of the high pressure port (red circle) is further aft on the one installed on the car as opposed to the low pressure port (blue circle). On the replacement pump it seems that the high pressure port (again red circle) is forward of the low pressure port (again blue circle). Additionally, the high pressure line in the car seems to be fixed in its location by a bolt/mount (yellow arrow) that does not allow it to be simply relocated.
How did you guys do it?

I ran the high pressure line without bending the steel part. I don't like the way it hangs on the pump without support so I plan to either make a bracket to support the line or make a up a new line. For now I just attached the line then modified one of the ABC line supports that attach to the engine oil pan to support the line.
I have noticed looking at other models in the junk yard MB used banjo bolt when they didn't have a line support at the connection.

I will visit my independent with STAR soon if I cannot band-aid this.
My complete ABC is gone...so I don't really understand your comment...nothing plugged in (unless you really meant ABS?).
The package includes pump with the correct 7rib pulley, correct diameter, correct hose size and then we designed a CNC milled aluminum rear bracket plus a laser cut forward bracket to mount using original V12 holes and bolts. I've seen a modified V8 pump work, but it does not have the 7rib belt so you lose 14% or the hose connection, and the V12 won't let you run a reservoir on the engine like on V8's.
$465 includes everything pictured so you can ditch your V12 pump and maybe even sell it on eBay for a couple hundred.

Working on a simple hydraulic line that runs straight from the pump to the rack, E-class style. The E-class part would fit great, but unfortunately Merc used ORB on the R230, and Banjo on the W211. Only God knows why haha.
Random FYI, the R230 is basically an E-class. I'm super curious to try a W211 crossmember in the front of my car.
