2003 SL55 w/ black series kit ...anyone recognize this car?
Hello everyone, first post here.
Found a 90k mile 03 SL55 with a black series kit on it.
Owner says there is a leak from the oil pan.
1. what do you think about this? Easy fix?
2. I can't see for myself, but if anyone recognizes this car, is it quality made?
I plan on paying a shop to do a PPI because I am in the west coast. Other than that,, I am close to pulling the trigger...

I think i saw that car on cars.com or something recently. What is that gray thing, did he try to JB weld an oil pan? The bodykit is nice, but lose the mustang tail light and headlight tint though.

That's a jbwelded oil pan so it looks like something punctured it. Possibly road debris or some idiot punched a hole in it jacking it up. FYI that's a job that requires dropping the subframe, so to factor that into whatever price you're willing to pay. The oil pan is a few hundred and you might be able to find a cheap used one.

Coilover converted right ? The cracked sump is caused by the Anti roll bar clipping the sump , you can see the witness marks , at full droop theres not enough travel on the links - at least thats what ive found anyway .
