Hi, the star emblem on the grille of my 2003 R230 SL55 was knocked off. I ordered an OEM replacement, but it doesn't fit, which I now think is because the grille itself might not be OEM (or, if it's OEM, it's from a different SL model or model year? the car has had previous owners). The part I ordered was 230-888-00-86, a 6.5" emblem; the diameter is too small and the clips are in the wrong places.

Any help tracking this down would be appreciated. I know I may have to replace the whole grille, but if there's a way to replace just the star emblem, that would save me some money. Below are some pics of the grille. Will be selling this car pretty soon so I'm hoping to get it taken care of. Thank you!
