There is a clip inside the the connector, you'll need to pry that up and that will allow the hose to slide off, it requires tremendous force to pry the hose off if you haven't done it in awhile. use a big pry bar to push the hose off.

When doing radiator, it's a good idea to go ahead and replace the O-ring inside the radiator hose as well, there's one on the top one and one on the bottom, just use a pick to pry it out and replace it.

When putting the hose back on, do not use WD40, it'll dry out later and could leak, try to use the coolant to lubricate it before sliding it on. Again it'll take a lot of force to pop it back in place.

The O ring might have been the problem! Wish I knew that before buying the radiator. It was leaking slowly and I thought it was the neck.
The clips came off real easy. The manual forgets to tell you about the two right side hex screws that are almost impossible to get out, they face towards the fender
and no room to put a socket.
Thanks for your help.
