THERMOSTAT QUESTION
Forum members,
I'm interested in understanding the advantages or benefits (if any) of installing a lower temperature opening thermostat.
There's a stat for the SL55 amg that opens around 7 or 8 degrees lower than the standard stat provided as stock.
Has anyone installed one or does anyone have input on whether its a good idea or not?

If its not a drag car or track car or having a specfic issue Im wondering what benefit your looking for?
