looping a ps pump

Looking at a Neomax coil swap over. will remove all ABC components and local indy says that he can remove the ABC software. Need to know about looping the ps pump though. If I take the output line cut it to approx 48" and loop it back into the return at the top of the reservoir, will I have an issue with the pressure from the output line and the reservoir receiving that volume of fluid? Any help?

I bought a single stage powersteering pump.
Where did you set your 24-position hard/soft knob?

If you disconnect the wire to the pump it will keep it from building pressure. However switching to regular PS pump and attached reservoir is a lot cleaner installation of the pump. That is how I did mine. I am not crazy about the P/S line support at the pump but I modified the ABC line bracket on the front of the oil pan to support the P/S line.
