03 SL55. Having a hard time finding the part circled in red. No part # on the tube. Could be a home-made type of fix done by the previous owner. It's brittle and cracked. Duct taped it for now till I find the real fix.
Please send your thoughts if you happened to have it in your car or if you know the right replacement part.

Reason: pic too small
Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
just rubber tube that connects black metal tube to engine flange The same thing as #120 rubber fitting on the other end. dont see anything wrong, its just air tube
Whats the trouble with it? its just air line right?
The tube seems to be for fuel vapor going back to the engine. Tube being cracked sends unmetered air into the engine or maybe metered fuel vapor that's supposed to go to the engine escaping out of the cracked tube.
Car runs and idles rough. I have another vacuum leak at the change over EGR valve. Plugging both leaks and if it didn't fix the rough run maybe a smoke test for further testing.
